Abstract:
This project presents the design and development of a Solar Based Pick and Place Robot controlled through WiFi using the ESP32 microcontroller. The robot is powered by a solar panel with a rechargeable battery backup, making it energy-efficient and suitable for remote or off-grid applications. The system allows users to control robot movements and robotic arm operations using a blynk mobile application. The robot is capable of picking up small objects and placing them at desired locations. This project integrates renewable energy, IoT, and automation, making it ideal for industrial, agricultural, and warehouse applications.
INTRODUCTION:
Automation and robotics have become an essential part of modern industrial and domestic applications due to their ability to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Pick and place robots are widely used in manufacturing units, warehouses, and packaging industries for handling objects with precision and minimal human intervention. At the same time, the growing demand for clean and renewable energy has encouraged the use of solar power in various electronic and robotic systems. Integrating solar energy with robotic systems helps reduce dependency on conventional power sources and supports sustainable development.
This project focuses on the design and development of a Solar Based Pick and Place Robot using WiFi Controller (ESP32). The robot is powered by a solar panel with battery backup, making it suitable for operation in remote and off-grid locations. The ESP32 microcontroller is used as the main control unit due to its high processing capability, low power consumption, and built-in WiFi functionality. Wireless control is achieved using the Blynk mobile application, which provides a user-friendly interface for real-time monitoring and control.
The robot is capable of performing basic movements such as forward, backward, left, and right, along with pick and place operations using a robotic arm and gripper. This system reduces human effort and increases productivity. The combination of renewable energy, IoT technology, and automation makes this project highly efficient, eco-friendly, and suitable for future smart industries.
