Abstract
The Fire Protection System using Arduino is an automatic safety device designed to detect and control fire at an early stage. The system uses a fire sensor to sense the presence of flame or excessive heat in the surroundings. When the sensor detects fire, the Arduino immediately activates a buzzer to give an audible alert and triggers a relay module to switch on the water pump. The pump then releases water to extinguish the fire automatically, helping to prevent further damage and spreading. This system provides a cost-effective, reliable, and efficient solution for fire detection and prevention. It can be effectively used in homes, offices, industries, and laboratories to ensure safety and quick emergency response without the need for human intervention.
Introduction
Fire accidents are one of the most common and dangerous hazards that can lead to serious damage to life and property. Traditional fire protection systems often rely on manual detection and response, which may cause delays in taking action. To overcome this problem, an automatic fire protection system can play a crucial role. This project, Fire Protection System using Arduino, is designed to detect fire automatically and respond immediately. It uses a fire sensor to sense flames or heat, and when a fire is detected, the Arduino microcontroller activates a buzzer to alert people nearby and turns on a relay to start the water pump, which sprays water to extinguish the fire. This system is simple, affordable, and effective, making it suitable for use in homes, offices, industries, and laboratories. By automating fire detection and control, it helps reduce response time and prevent major fire damage.
Problem Statement
Fire outbreaks can cause severe damage to property, environment, and human life. In many cases, fires spread rapidly because of delayed detection and slow manual response. Traditional fire alarm systems only alert people but do not take immediate action to control the fire. There is a need for an automatic fire protection system that can detect fire quickly and respond instantly to minimize damage. Therefore, this project aims to develop a low-cost, automatic fire detection and extinguishing system using Arduino, fire sensor, water pump, buzzer, and relay to ensure faster and more effective fire control without human intervention.
