Abstract:
A Hospital Management System (HMS) built using the Java (HTML, CSS, Thyme leaf, Bootstrap, Spring Boot and MySQL) is a web-based application designed to optimize and automate hospital operations. The system integrates various hospital functionalities such as patient management, appointment booking, and billing into a unified, efficient platform.
The frontend of the application is developed using Thyme leaf &JavaScript, a dynamic JavaScript library for building interactive user interfaces. JavaScript helps create a responsive and user-friendly interface for patients, doctor. Features like patient registration, appointment scheduling, viewing medical records, and making online payments are seamlessly presented integrated, providing a smooth and user-friendly interface
The backend is built using Sprig Boot, providing a robust, scalable server-side framework. It ensures fast processing of request and communication between patients and healthcare providers. Spring Boot helps in creating RESTful APIs that manage patient records, appointments, doctor information, and billing data.
For the database, MySQL is used, which stores patient data, doctor profiles, appointment schedules, and billing records in a SQL format. MySQL flexibility allows for easy management of structured and unstructured data, such as medical reports, prescriptions, and diagnostic images.

Key Features:
1. Patient Management: Register patients, maintain electronic health records (EHRs), and track previous visits, diagnoses, and treatments.
2. Doctor Management: View doctor profiles, schedules, and specialties, and assign patients based on doctor availability.
3. Appointment Scheduling: Patients can book appointments online, view available slots, and receive reminders for upcoming appointments.
4. Medical Records: Doctors and staff can access, update, and manage patient records, including medical history, lab results, and prescriptions.
5. Resource Management: Manage hospital resources such as bed occupancy, staff availability, and inventory for medicines and equipment.
6. Real-time Communication: Facilitate real-time updates between departments (e.g., doctors, nurses, admin) for patient care coordination.
7. Security and Authentication: User authentication for patients, doctors, and admin using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) to ensure secure access to sensitive medical data.
