Abstract:
Some of the key challenges in steganography are imperceptibility and resistance to detection of steg analysis algorithms. Zero steganography is an approach to data hiding such that the cover image is not modified. This paper focuses on the generation of stego-key, which is an essential component of this steganographic approach. This approach utilizes DNA sequences and shifting and flipping operations in its binary code representation. Experimental results show that the key generation algorithm has a low cracking probability. The algorithm satisfies the avalanche criterion.
Objective:
steganographic scheme presented to resist thedetection of steganalysis is zero steganography.
Zero steganography is a steganographic scheme thatdoes not perform modifications in the cover image. Theprinciple of zero steganography is to create a relationshipbetween the information to be hidden or payload and the coverimage, which will produce a stego-key.The generation of stego-key is the focus of this paper. Thispaper proposes a new approach in generating the stego-key ofthe zero steganography technique using DNA sequences.
