Abstract:

This project presents a Music Player Web Application designed using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) technology stack. The app provides users with features such as music streaming, playlist management, and personalized user authentication. It incorporates a responsive and user-friendly interface that works across devices.

The frontend, developed using React.js, supports dynamic interaction and seamless user experience, enhanced by Redux for state management and Tailwind CSS for responsive design. Axios facilitates communication between the frontend and backend for tasks like fetching music data and managing user accounts.

On the server side, Node.js and Express.js manage API requests for user login, song selection, and playlist creation. MongoDB serves as the database for storing user data, playlists, and other music-related information, with Mongoose acting as the data model to interact efficiently with the database.
Authentication is handled using JSON Web Tokens (JWT), providing secure user login and session management. Additionally, integration with the Spotify API allows users to explore a wide range of music tracks and albums, enhancing the music library with real-time data.

This project was deployed using Render, making it accessible through the cloud, allowing for a scalable solution. Overall, this music player offers an engaging platform for users to enjoy music while managing their own playlists in a secure and intuitive environment.

Key Features:

• User Authentication with JWT
• Music Library powered by Spotify API
• Playlist Management (create, view, and modify)
• Music Player with playback controls (play, pause, skip, etc.)
• Responsive Design across desktop and mobile devices
