Abstract:

Mobile phone detection has a variety of applications, from security systems to personal alerts.

This paper presents a hardware-based mobile phone detector that utilizes an Arduino microcontroller, an operational amplifier (op-amp), and an antenna to detect mobile phone signals.

The system is designed to detect incoming calls by capturing electromagnetic signals emitted by mobile phones.

The antenna captures these signals and sends them to the op-amp, which amplifies the signal for further processing.

The amplified signal is then read by the Arduino, which processes the data and activates an indicator, such as an LED or buzzer, to alert the user of an incoming call.

The key components of the system include the antenna for signal capture, the op-amp for signal amplification, and the Arduino for signal processing and indicator control.

The system's design is aimed at achieving a reliable detection mechanism with minimal hardware complexity.

Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in detecting mobile phone signals with a high degree of accuracy.

This approach provides a cost-effective solution for mobile phone detection with potential applications in security, monitoring, and personal alert systems.

Future work includes optimizing the sensitivity and range of the detector to enhance its applicability in various environments.

• Design and Develop a Cost-Effective Detection System: The primary objective of this project is to design and develop a mobile phone detection system using affordable and readily available components. By employing an Arduino microcontroller, operational amplifier (op-amp), and a simple antenna, the goal is to create a cost-effective solution for detecting mobile phone signals, making the technology accessible to various applications.
• Implement Signal Amplification and Processing: To ensure accurate detection of mobile phone signals, the system aims to incorporate an operational amplifier for signal amplification. The amplified signal is then processed by the Arduino to distinguish between mobile phone signals and background noise. This objective focuses on achieving reliable signal detection and processing while minimizing false positives.
• Develop a User-Friendly Indicator System: The project aims to integrate an indicator mechanism, such as an LED or buzzer, to provide a clear and immediate alert when a mobile phone signal is detected. This user-friendly feature is designed to enhance the practicality of the system in real-world applications, such as in security settings or environments where mobile phone usage needs to be monitored.
• Evaluate and Optimize System Performance: An essential objective is to evaluate the performance of the mobile phone detection system under various conditions and scenarios. This involves testing the system's sensitivity, range, and accuracy in detecting mobile phone signals. Based on the evaluation results, the system will be optimized to improve its reliability and effectiveness, ensuring it meets the required standards for practical deployment.
