Abstract:
This project presents the design and implementation of a human-following robot using Arduino Uno as the microcontroller and three ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection and distance measurement.
The robot is capable of detecting a human target and following them by continuously adjusting its path based on the target's movement.
The system was developed to demonstrate the application of autonomous navigation and real-time obstacle avoidance in robotics.
The results show that the robot can successfully follow a human subject in various scenarios, maintaining a safe distance and avoiding obstacles.
The potential applications of this robot include assistance in warehouses, personal assistants for the elderly, and security surveillance.
• To design and develop a human-following robot using Arduino Uno and ultrasonic sensors.
• To implement real-time obstacle detection and avoidance mechanisms.
• To ensure that the robot can maintain a consistent distance from the human target.
• To test and evaluate the robot's performance in different environments and scenarios.
• To explore the potential applications of human-following robots in various fields.
