ABSTRACT:
The advancement of wireless communication has enabled remote health monitoring systems to become more efficient and accessible. This project presents a health monitoring system that utilizes LoRa (Long Range) communication technology to transmit vital health parameters over long distances with low power consumption. The system is designed for real-time monitoring of patient health data, which can be accessed remotely by medical professionals.
Introduction:
With the increasing demand for remote healthcare solutions, wireless health monitoring systems have gained significant attention. Traditional wireless communication methods such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have limitations in terms of range and power efficiency. LoRa technology provides an effective solution by offering long-range communication with low power consumption, making it suitable for healthcare applications in remote areas.
Objectives:
• To design a low-power, long-range health monitoring system.
• To collect real-time health parameters such as heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels.
• To transmit the collected data using LoRa technology to a remote monitoring station.
• To provide an alert mechanism for abnormal health conditions.
Advantages:
• Long-range communication without the need for internet connectivity.
• Low power consumption, making it ideal for wearable and portable devices.
• Reliable data transmission in remote and rural areas.
• Scalable for multiple patient monitoring.
