Upon successful booking, users receive an electronic ticket (e-ticket) along with booking confirmation via email.
Administrators have access to a separate panel where they can manage train details, schedules, routes, fare structures, and monitor overall booking reports. The system ensures dynamic seat allocation and fare calculation based on distance and class, while also allowing users to cancel or modify their bookings if needed.
The application is built using Java and Spring Boot for the backend, MySQL for data storage, and HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript for the frontend interface. The architecture follows a modular and scalable design, making it easy to upgrade or integrate with other services in the future.
Overall, the Online Train Ticket Booking System enhances convenience for passengers, reduces operational load on railway staff, and improves transparency and accuracy in train ticketing.
