Abstract:
The Smart Irrigation System and Seed Sowing Machine is an integrated agricultural automation project designed to improve farming efficiency, save water, and reduce manual labor. The system uses a moisture sensor and a DS18B20 waterproof temperature sensor to monitor soil conditions and environmental temperature, activating a water motor via a relay only when necessary. Seed sowing is automated using big and small servo motors (MG996R), ensuring precise and uniform placement. The machine moves autonomously with 12V DC motors and motor drivers, while ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles for safe navigation. ESP8266 Wi-Fi modules allow remote monitoring and control, and the system is powered by a battery for portability. This combination of sensors, actuators, and controllers provides a smart, efficient, and sustainable solution for modern agriculture, enhancing crop productivity and resource management.
Introduction:
Agriculture plays a vital role in feeding the growing population, but traditional farming methods are often labor-intensive, time-consuming, and inefficient. Managing irrigation and seed sowing manually can lead to water wastage, uneven seed placement, and lower crop yield.
The Smart Irrigation System and Seed Sowing Machine addresses these challenges by combining automated irrigation and precise seed planting in one integrated system. A moisture sensor and DS18B20 waterproof temperature sensor monitor soil moisture and temperature, triggering the water motor via a relay when needed. Big and small servo motors (MG996R) accurately sow seeds, while 12V DC motors move the machine through the field. Ultrasonic sensors prevent collisions, and ESP8266 Wi-Fi modules enable remote monitoring and control.
