The increasing number of road accidents caused by undetected path holes and vehicle imbalance poses a significant threat to road safety.

This paper presents the design and implementation of an Automatic Path Hole Detection and Alert System using Raspberry Pi Pico as the microcontroller.

The proposed system is mounted on a robotic vehicle equipped with an ultrasonic sensor and an accelerometer to detect path holes and vehicle imbalance, respectively.

Upon detection, the system will send SMS to the concerned user and also triggers a buzzer and a red LED to alert the user of potential hazards.

This real-time detection and alert mechanism aim to reduce accidents and enhance vehicle safety, especially in environments with poor road conditions.

The effectiveness of the system is validated through a series of experiments, demonstrating its potential for practical deployment in autonomous vehicles and road safety monitoring systems.
