Abstract
Road accidents often cause serious injuries and even death due to delays in getting timely help. This project introduces a smart accident detection and alert system that can automatically sense accidents and send emergency notifications instantly. Sensors placed in the vehicle detect sudden impacts, unusual tilts, or abrupt stops to confirm a crash.
When an accident occurs, the system immediately captures the vehicle’s GPS location and sends real-time alerts through the Blynk IoT platform, which directly notifies emergency contacts, nearby ambulances, and hospitals via the mobile application. Unlike GSM-based systems, this approach eliminates the need for a SIM card and SMS charges, ensuring faster and more reliable communication over Wi-Fi or mobile internet.
The ambulance can be guided to the exact accident spot using GPS coordinates shared through the Blynk app, while hospitals can be informed in advance to prepare for immediate treatment. By reducing the response time and ensuring quick communication, this system significantly increases the chances of saving lives and making rescue operations more efficient.
Introduction

To solve this problem, technology can be used to detect accidents automatically and send help without wasting time.
This project focuses on creating an automatic system that can detect accidents using sensors installed in vehicles. Once an accident is detected, the system sends the location and details to emergency services and immediately alerts the nearest ambulance. This helps reduce the time taken for medical help to reach the spot. The system also informs nearby hospitals so they can prepare for the patient. By using this technology, many lives can be saved through faster and more efficient rescue operations.
