The main objective of our project is to secure the online voting system using block chain technology. In olden days electronic voting system was used for voting purpose, during election time some voting machines will not work and voters will get depressed due to it. In order to mitigate this problem we brought block chain in to picture to store the voting data in a centralized block chain and display it to the correct customers. Cryptographic techniques were not used in our project because man in the middle attacked can’t be performed in block chain technology, because data are distributed and stored in blocks. Each block will have the previous node and next node data in the nodes and the actual data will be stored in the hashed format for data security

Our project we brought block chain in to picture to store the voting data in a centralized block chain and display it to the correct customers. Cryptographic techniques were not used in our project because man in the middle attacked can’t be performed in block chain technology, because data are distributed and stored in blocks. Each block will have the previous node and next node data in the nodes and the actual data will be stored in the hashed format for data security. While voting email id validation will be done and one time password (OTP) will be send to the corresponding email id of the voter after entering the correct OTP only he /she can view the nominators list to vote. During that voting only her/she can vote only once and other time he is not allowed to vote once again, before that all his personal details will be verified by the system in backend.
