The project titled "IoT-Based Motor Speed Control in RPM Using ESP8266" aims to develop a smart system that allows real-time monitoring and control of multiple DC motors over the internet. In this system, an ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller is used as the core IoT module to interface with two motor driver modules (L298N), which control three DC motors. The speed of each motor is measured in Revolutions Per Minute (RPM), and users can remotely adjust motor speeds through a web-based dashboard hosted on the ESP8266.
The system provides real-time feedback on motor speeds and allows precise control using PWM signals. This implementation demonstrates how IoT can be effectively used in industrial automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing to remotely manage motor operations. The web interface allows users to set individual motor speeds, start/stop motors, and view live RPM values, ensuring both control and visibility.
