Abstract:
The Automatic Toll Gate system is designed to automate the process of vehicle entry and exit at toll plazas, reducing human intervention and traffic congestion. This project utilizes an Arduino Uno, ultrasonic sensor, and servo motor to detect approaching vehicles and control the barrier. The ultrasonic sensor continuously measures the distance to detect a vehicle, and when a vehicle is within a specified range, the Arduino triggers the servo motor to lift the gate automatically. Once the vehicle passes, the gate closes safely. This system is simple, cost-effective, and enhances traffic management by providing a fast and reliable method of toll collection, while minimizing manual operation errors.
Introduction:
With the rapid increase in the number of vehicles on roads, manual toll collection has become time-consuming and inefficient, often leading to traffic congestion and human errors.
