The Use of Vocal Biomarkers from Research to Clinical Practice

Category: Python Projects

Price: ₹ 1600 ₹ 8000 80% OFF

Abstract
Diseases can affect organs such as the heart, lungs, brain, muscles, or vocal folds, which can then alter an individual’s voice. Therefore, voice analysis using artificial intelligence opens new opportunities for healthcare. From using vocal biomarkers for diagnosis, risk prediction, and remote monitoring of various clinical outcomes and symptoms, we offer in this review an overview of the various applications of voice for health-related purposes. We discuss the potential of this rapidly evolving environment from a research, patient, and clinical perspective. We also discuss the key challenges to overcome in the near future for a substantial and efficient use of voice in healthcare.
Keywords : dataset of audio , Machine Learning Algorithm

Problem Statement
Despite significant advancements in the field of vocal biomarker research, the translation of these findings into clinical practice remains inadequately addressed. Current diagnostic approaches often rely on invasive and subjective measures, which can lead to delays in detection and treatment of various health conditions. Vocal biomarkers, which can provide valuable insights into physiological and psychological states through the analysis of voice characteristics, have the potential to revolutionize diagnostic processes. However, several challenges hinder their widespread adoption in clinical settings, including a lack of standardized methodologies for data collection and analysis, insufficient validation of the reliability and accuracy of vocal biomarker indicators, and limited awareness among healthcare professionals regarding the utility of vocal analysis. Furthermore, existing research predominantly focuses on specific conditions, leaving a gap in comprehensive studies that encompass diverse health issues. This project aims to address these gaps by establishing robust frameworks for integrating vocal biomarkers into routine clinical assessments, thereby facilitating early detection, enhancing diagnostic accuracy, and improving patient outcomes.

Objective
The primary objective of this project is to explore the integration of vocal biomarkers into clinical practice, transitioning from research findings to tangible health applications. This involves systematically investigating the physiological and psychological implications of vocal characteristics in diagnosing and monitoring various health conditions. The project aims to establish standardized protocols for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of vocal data, fostering collaboration between researchers and healthcare practitioners. Additionally, it seeks to validate the efficacy and reliability of vocal biomarkers as non-invasive diagnostic tools, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes through early detection and personalized healthcare strategies.
